WebCruiter in push for CV data portability
WebCruiter AS has now published its response to jobseeker Morten Sæthre’s article “Jobseeking in 2010”, where he highlighted the problem of of multiple registration of CV information in different CV databases facing jobseekers:

Det Norske Veritas (DNV) chooses WebCruiter
DNV Norway has chosen the WebCruiter Enterprise to support recruitment processes and internal mobility in Norway. In addition WebCruiter will be used to support DNVs initiative of strategic talent acquisition.
The recruitment solution will be delivered integrated with Peoplesoft, with SSO (single sign on) and integrated with relevant registers at DNV. This will, in addition to ensure quality of data, represent an advantage for the recruiters and line managers at DNV.
WebCruiter contributes to clean water
WebCruiter supports a water filter project in Cambodia run by Norwegian Educational Development Organization (NEDO). The funds go directly to the project.

New case study - Success with global trainee recruitment at Jotun
The industrial firm Jotun began its first international trainee program in 2007. The recruiting process was a positive experience for over 800 candidates from 40 countries.
